I love Jean-Luc and Beverly's relationship. It's complex and intimate, and I would've enjoyed seeing it evolve into a full-on romance. But their friendship is wonderful, too.

I think the relationship Picard has with -- her name escapes me right now -- the woman from astrometrics (she's also a musician) gives us a good idea of what complications would have arisen in Picard and Beverly's romantic relationship. Picard would have to separate the personal from the professional, putting Beverly's life at risk if necessary ... and then Beverly would transfer to another ship (or go back to teaching).

But every ST: TNG movie I was waiting for them, finally, to be together.

They respect the hell out of each other, and I love that they enjoy spending time together. Like their breakfasts -- and Beverly trying to make them interesting and complex when they both just want a simple one.

But I also understand why Mulgrew said, "No way. Not happening," and stopped the romance in its tracks.

The relationship is escaping me

so her name escaping you is alright

Unless its within the first 5.5 seasons

there's a good chance I haven't seen the episode than or if I did it was as a "wee little girl"

with not much of a memory

Think already mentioned it Tracey? but would die if this new Picard series had it that he finally was with Beverly even if we don't see her and its just a mention but would die happy if that were the case

I can't remember her name either, but Picard was worried about her safety on an away mission. And yes, that's absolutely why a relationship with a superior officer is problematic.

Yes, their initmate breakfasts together were nice. And the Dixon Hill holodeck programme. I wish there had been more of that.

. I was so disappointed with the movies in general because we hardly got any good scenes with them. Yes the odd one here and there, but nothing substantial.
