The Con I'm going to is June 16-18 in Washington D.C!! I love it and i am o excited to be going back! Hahah!

I live 2 hours away from D.C, so I can come home and sleep in my own bed each day after the Con! LOL! My uncle is going with me and my friends, cause he's a huge nerd too! LOL! So, we all commute to the metro and it takes us right into the convention center! Win Win! 3 days of glorious geekiness and I don't have to pay for a hotel room!

It's wonderful that it's all so convenient for you. No stress of driving and finding a parking spot, or the overnight expense of a hotel.

The first two years I went, I drove, and did the whole parking garage thing..... but I HATE driving to DC because the traffic there is INSANE!! Last year, my Uncle went with me, because he was curious about it, so the farthest I had to drive was to his place, and he drove to the closest Metro station, and we did the metro. We only has to switch trains once, and on the second train it took us straight into the convention center. And we're doing that again this year.

My son and I are in PA. Last year we drove down and then got a hotel room (really nice, close to a Starbucks ) that's about a block or so away from the convention center. This year we're doing the same thing. Makes it easier and we can relax after the con.

I think we waited in line together last year, Tori, and talked a little to each other without even realizing who we were or how we knew each other on . How cool is that? My son and I were just in front of a couple with a small service dog, while we were sitting on the carpeted floor waiting for Peter to come in to the autograph room. The family/group in front of us included a guy with a beard (not sure if that's your uncle).

So excited for this year's con! I bought the Tenant/Piper VIP and we're ready to go. Hotel is booked, etc.

Woah, it would be such a weird coincidence if you were behind each other in line! we were there a couple of years ago, and I'd have to agree. Although being tourists and not really knowing where we were going probably didn't help. I was glad that we splurged on a downtown hotel so we could walk to the attractions we wanted to see. It was definitely worth it in the long run.

I was there, but my uncle wasn't with me! lol! He's not a Doctor Who fan! hahah! I was the girl lying down, and I probably said loud enough "Frak the Panel, I'm staying right here!" lol! When one of the Con people came in and said the Panel was about to start, if anyone wanted to go.

I have the regular VIP pass! This year my bestie will be with me and we will be laughing and dorky! lol!



Even the people who LIVE in DC don;t know how to drive those streets! Ugh!!! crazy @$$ people and narrow streets that weren't originally designed for cars!! UGH! I hate it!!! Least I live close enough to a metro station, that now, I don;t have to worry about it.

Me too!! I'm a small town girl used to a slower pace of life. City drivers are nuts!

I so can't wait for this Con! Lol! (I say that about a lot of Cons I go to!! haha!)
