I didn't understand why they didn't go for the Doctor as well. Or even Harry, he was interested for a time. There was no build up or indications that there was anything between her and Chakotay.

Most of the seasons Chakotay interacted with Seven, he barely tolerated her too. So, having them together was completely, utterly, totally..... MORONIC!!!! Not only did they turn Chakotay's character in a cliche (Older man dating a blond bombshell) But they sort of diminished the evolution of Seven and putting her with someone who would actually LOVE her. The Doctor LOVED her. He said as much. Harry would have been a good match for her as well, cause yes, he had a crush on her. But Chakotay..... he was perfectly matched for only ONE woman. Janeway. Kathryn Janeway wa the missing part of his heart, his soul mate. THEY BELONGED TOGETHER!

But.... I'm not bitter at all....
