Wow this was an emotional episode, hit the feels button big time..

- Aww wonderful start with Picard & Riker talking abut Riker's son
- Lovely Deanna cameo..
- Dr. Crusher back in sickbay!!
- OH my that Picard/Crusher scene , well that hit all type of feels, all laid bare there, great acting by Gates and Patrick
- Riker has come out as a P/C fanboy, we all knew
- So Jack knew who his father was for years..intresting take now looking back on their first scene knowing who he was
- Worf your intro again was great
- "Will, call me number one"
- The scene between Sydney and Seven was lovely
- Holy moly that weapon the Shrike has got
- I loved Bev and Jack working together in sickbay
- Worf and Raffi make a good team
- I like the Jack/Seven team up
- Dr. Crusher is in charge of sickbay, the other Doc there, just stand the hell back..
- Jack!! and Picard changing to a father....
- Changlings! I didn't think we would see them again
- Oh my I don't like the rift between Picard/Riker
- Nope Riker/Picard just make up will you..

All in all another great episode

Worf referring to an "honorable man" from the Link -- Odo!

Just because I'm a huge PC shipper and angst is my jam ....

it was a lovely little shoutout to Odo

Also I am now thinking Jack is "special" because of the odd visions he was having while he was getting knocked out by the gas.

What was that red mist stuff behind Seven and also the red door as well ?

Awesome the way that Frakes did that scene. Picard and Beverly are standing far apart at the beginning and then gradually getting closer. Both of them made good points - phenomenal acting.

Great episode. It's good to have an enemy that is very hard to defeat or get away from. No instant answers to this problem.

Shaw did a better job in this episode.

I didn't like the conflict between Riker and Picard, but I suppose they are under a lot of pressure.

Some great direction as ever by Jonathan Frakes.

I hope Worf and Rafi can help everyone soon.

on your points Claire and yes great directing by Jonathan

Shaw is slowly growing on me, very very slowly though

Yeah Picard/Riker, oh the brothers better make up soon, I do not like them fighting!!

I must admit, the Worf/Raffi team really work and it surprised me how much I liked it..

Also loved the looks between Picard/Crusher as they're both worried about Jack in Sickbay ... and then the relief when Jack's okay. Co-parenting. I see Picard deciding to actually choose family and fight for his relationship with Beverly this time ... to tell her that he doesn't want to lose her, that he'll give up the vineyard and the stars to be a husband and father. After all these years he knows where he belongs and he wants to be with his family - Beverly and Jack. Maybe he'll give the vineyard to Laris as a parting gift. After he explains the situation, Laris will see that Picard and Beverly have a stronger connection than what she and Picard both thought when he left to save Beverly. His break-up with Laris will be amiable and they'll part on good terms.

Just my hope. I want PC endgame so bad.

I hope we see the Jack/Seven dynamic again, good team up

I'm really intrigued by Jack and possibly being "special" with the visions he had..

Great episode.

- wonderful scene of Beverly explaining why she kept Jack from Picard. Love that she mentioned Wesley
- Deanna! obviously very stressed by motherhood.
- agree that Shaw was at least tolerable in this episode
- @ Picard telling Riker to call him Number One
- oh, the clash between Picard and Riker on the bridge
- great dynamic between Worf and Raffi.
- definitely something up with Jack and his visions. Looking forward to finding out what that's about.
