I have trouble keeping track of them. Brent Spiner is a very talented actor. Like Nimoy with Spock, he took Data much farther than anybody could have hoped.

Oddly enough, Data was the most human character on TNG, thanks to Spiner's performance. It still hurts that they killed him in Nemesis. I remember hearing that Spiner actually requested he be killed off, though I can't vouch for the accuracy of that.

It's my understanding that Spiner requested for Data to be killed. Obviously he's had second thoughts about that. While I'd prefer the original Data to still be around, it's good to see the relations still participating in the franchise. __________________

Yeah I did think he wanted to cut ties with the character and then proceeds to do roles with all of Data relations and Data again

I think everybody regrets the decision to kill Data. I think it turns people against Nemesis, which was actually a pretty well-made movie, and also had good performances from Tom Hardy and Ron Perlman.
