I had a feeling the Emperor would be still standing by the end of the episode. She is ruthless enough to survive and she had more than enough hatred to fuel her for her fight with Lorca.

I suspected that the Emperor would survive. I'm sure that she's used to watching her back. It will be interesting to see how she'll cope with being in this universe.

What I can't wait to see is her interacting with Sarek. That's gonna tense to see.

The Emperor is going to be angrier than normal, and she's going to be angriest at Micahel, because she was denied her honorable death. She's surrounded by people she deems inferior. To her, the Federation deserved to be overrun be Klingons, but her Xenophobic hatred of them will propel her to lend her knowledge to the Federation, to beat them.

I am so curious to see how she adjusts and copes as well. She could be such a great asset to the team if she can just let go of her bigotry and hatred. If she can't do that then I don't really see a future for her character.

Agree with you there. Considering one of her titles is Dominus of Qo'nos, I wonder if she'll be able to help them come to terms with the Klingons.

She'll show the Federation how to win out of pure spite for the Klingons. She's not the Emperor for nothing! She ruthless and committed to doing what she has to, even if that means raining carnage down on the Klingon army.

I wonder how others will react when they see her? Saru in particular.
