TFTNT Chris :high_five:

Liking the uniforms!

Chris 03-02-2022 07:31 AM

 those uniforms have a nice futuristic and functional look.

Was an ok eppy..

- I'm glad that Detmer went on the away mission with the senior officers
- Poor Saru though, he went through the ringer a bit
- Glad that all of them helped each other on the planet
- Reno is back!!, about time
- Lovely scene with Reno and Adira and Adina coming up as being a big fan of Denbar
- I knew Book and Tarka would get caught
- Really liked the scene with Culbur and Michael, these are the sort of scenes we are missing..
- Glad that Adira and Detmer had a good chat :)
- Oh no Reno!

Chris 03-05-2022 08:03 PM

- awww ... Hugh kissing Paul before leaving with the Away team
- nice to see Detmer on the away team
- @ the effect the planet is having on Saru, then Michael & Hugh.
- Jett Reno!:yay: love the way she reassures Adira
- :nono: Book attempting to make a deal with the General
- nice seeing Adira & Detmer, and Michael & Hugh just hanging out
- Reno has the best lines "please tell me I just spoiled a surprise party" & "nothing like coming home to an unexpected hostage"
- not a bad episode, but I didn't feel that they progressed the storyline very much

crazy_diamond 03-06-2022 03:38 AM

no they didn't regarding the storyline, the pacing of the storyline is off..

Chris 03-06-2022 06:38 AM

 especially when they really need to get things wrapped up for the season.

crazy_diamond 03-06-2022 01:16 PM

exactly..

Chris 03-06-2022 01:52 PM

Just hoping that things are settled so that we don't end the season with a cliffhanger.

crazy_diamond 03-07-2022 02:55 AM

I bet we do..

Chris 03-07-2022 06:10 AM

At this point it seems probable. I dislike season finale cliff hangers.

You bet things are settled or that we get a cliffhanger?

crazy_diamond 03-07-2022 01:40 PM

cliffhanger

ChakotaysLover 03-07-2022 04:33 PM

Tarka is getting on my nerves!

crazy_diamond 03-08-2022 03:14 AM

Yeah he was getting on my nerves in his 2nd eppy..

Chris 03-08-2022 06:33 AM

 I won't be disappointed if Tarka doesn't make it through this season.

I felt a little sorry for him when we saw some of his backstory, but not enough! I'm really getting fed up with his arrogant posturing! he's digging the hole deeper and deeper and Book is gonna get buried.

crazy_diamond 03-08-2022 02:20 PM

yeah me too Tari..

ChakotaysLover 03-08-2022 02:38 PM

Other than him being a monumental pain, I liked the episode with the team down on 10-C's planet.

 My thoughts exactly. And his backstory didn't need to be so drawn out.

One of the hosts of Discovery Pod pointed out that the "steamed bananas" are a Lower Decks reference. :D

 That's a nice bit of continuity. Thanks for bringing it over. :)

Definitely not.

Meliana 07-19-2022 07:32 AM

Reno was so fun this episode!

Book is being incredibly naive about what he's doing and who he is doing it with.

I found the stuff on the planet a bit boring if I'm honest.
