Yeah, she never thought that would happen. But I guess she knows by now that it comes with the fact that her best friend (Wade) is in love with Zoe. It was always good that despite Lemon's dislike for Zoe, she never bashed her in front of Wade. Despite everything that Wade was going through in his relationship with Zoe, it didn't change the fact that he still loved her.

Yeah, exactly. She did. I thought it was great that after awhile, like in 4x02, Lemon knew that when Wade needed help with something, it was Zoe Hart related.


I really love that ending scene between them. Even though the episode ended on a not so positive note, I think it's great that Wade took Lavon's advice into consideration and really did make an effort with Zoe instead of just being childish about his feelings for her.

btw side note: Did you notice Shelly's look in that end gif? I always got the impression that Shelly knew that Wade had serious feelings for Zoe. It would have been really cool to see her stick around longer than S1 to see how her character would have played into Wade and Zoe's relationship. Maybe she would have helped them get together or get back together....

Oh yeah, I definitely noticed that! I think that Shelley was shipping them & had noticed quite a few of their interactions. She knew in 1x04 that there was an attraction there & in 1x07, she told Zoe that she should give Wade a chance

& I do really love that scene, it seems like things were about to turn a corner with them

I think Shelley would have been a huge Zoe and Wade shipper once they got together.

And yeah, they really shared a nice moment with each other there and you could see that there was a spark. I really loved how Wade liked the fact that Zoe told him that he looked nice with him flattening out his shirt and everything

Yeah, it was a different side of both of them there, they were both being kinda shy but still trying to subtley put themselves out there

& it's a shame that Shelley wasn't around for s2, she would have been so excited to see Zoe & Wade together!

Yeah, Zoe and Wade were very similar in that they both sort of put up walls and were a bit hesitant in showing each other how they felt. They obviously both struggled with that.

I agree, it really is a shame that Shelley wasn't around in S2 because she would have been such a huge ZW shipper. Probably even being one of the few who was aware of Zoe and Wade's secret relationship.

I expect so, Zoe would have the girlfriend that she needed to talk about it all to if Shelley was around!

Yeah, I expect so! Shelley would have been Zoe's go-to for guy talk. I am sure it would have saved Lavon from getting all those details about her relationship with Wade that he never wanted to know.

Oh, yeah I know right!? I mean, she was so excited when she found out that Zoe was intending on giving in to him in 1x04. She would have loved it. I also really wonder what she would have done when they broke up and stuff. Do you think she would have tried to get Zoe and Wade back together?

Yeah, I agree with that. She wouldn't have. I also feel like Shelley would have been one to see right through Wade and Zoe's games when they just kept dancing around their feelings. She would be one to not take any of that.

Yeah, hopefully! That would have been really great if she did. I think she wouldn't give up on Zoe and Wade being meant to be so she might have been against any other guy in her life. I think Shelley would have definitely saw the whole "Wade is awful, I don't care him at all" act Zoe was putting on when clearly Wade meant the world to her.
