DIANE is a genius. I just sort of tag long for the fun of it!
I do feel the need to clarify one thing...she DOES write ALL of Will's dialogue. Well, a good 90% of it, anyway. Even in my chapters. That's her evil genius, not mine  Gotta give credit where credit is due! And yes, you can get OB gift wrapped. And shipped. He's what? 160 pounds maybe? It'll only cost you $175 to ship him approximately 5 miles. Probably more, though, since you'd have to probably buy a fancy box with air holes. I'm feeling nice tonight. |

 floored as in majorly impressed. I think she is different from Elizabeth from the movies but I like the liberties you guys have taken with both. I like that her thoughts go at a mile a minute because I feel like that would really be her in the movie. I really like the insecurities cause they just fit so well. I just really like the direction you took an already great character. She is still strong, but has the sort of helpless element to her that Will totally comes in and helps with. They are two halves and I love that! __________________

We wanted to make them both really...real. There is an element of realness missing in the canon characters, as there should be given the nature of the films. The whole story was born out of a conversation about our own backgrounds and preferences and how they fit these characters and gave them some depth. So, Di wrote a chapter, I threw one back at her, and this was born. Of course, I was supposed to be working at the time, but shhhhhhhh  Anyway, I need to sleep. Sleep this night off! Thans for everything, guys! If you need help capturing OB so that we can get him shipped off to Sheila, just let me know |

I agree, I think they have a realness in the sense that they are human where they make mistakes, but because of the movie they aren't what would fit exactly to have us relate to them 100% and I love them like that, but I love these guys too for their differences and how they are so real as in modern.

yeah thats always good, a modern fic that can still retain them and where the liberties they take don't go like WTF?? I think part of the reason I like this is that I can so easily picture OK doing too!
