This is why I like Dan. He's not perfect. He has flaws - but his flaws are real. And he tries to deal with them. Even when he runs from them, he's still helping make a world a better place. So much like my Lee. One day Dan I will make you a space pilot I swear.

Also I wasn't watching earlier, I didn't know he crumbled over Milo being taken away!

it's more of an emotional crumpling than an actual crumpling. you just need to watch the whole ep. this is why i don't favor watching clips alone, because you miss the actual character development. i've been watching Dan like a hawk since this season...

I thought the only scene we got with Dan being affected by Milo was him walking into his room and just looking sad? I want Milo to come back - my heart literally broke for Dan when they took him away. I want that to be a storyline - him trying to get Milo back or be involved or at least showing how sad he is.

maybe this time he will go emo. he went into that room, and basically talked to Vanessa. then the scene ended with him hugging her and telling her he loved her. the thing is Penn plays Dan so dry/straightman, that more often than not he is unreadable.

i like that with Blair, we're actually seeing Dan's face as more emotional and less shut down.

And there was a scene where Dan just walks into Milo's room and is just like sullen. It was so sad, and I thought clear foreshadowing that Milo would be back/or Dan would be in a dark place. Penn kind of talked about that Dan being a dark place but we never really saw it.
