And they had a better angle that they could've used but chose the bad one anyway

This.

Ron's supposedly to blame for everything that goes wrong.

He's a slob (but he might have an eating disorder or some other disorder that causes him to over eat) that never stops eating.

He's an insensitive jerk (but he has to stand up for himself with brothers like Fred and George, and sometimes you have to be a jerk in defense... kind of the same concept as shooting/stabbing in self-defense)

He's selfish (again, in a family of nine, I believe he's a little entitled to be selfish. Something Harry and Hermione [not to mention certain fans!

] don't understand because they didn't grow up in a impoverished family of nine)

He bickers with Hermione, they would never work (but hey, that is what makes Hermione/Ron an interesting couple! Who wants to read about a couple whose life is basically this:

Man - Hey, honey.
Woman - Hey, love. *kisses*
Man - Work was exhausting today, I am glad to be home with you.
Woman - I am sorry to hear that baby. Shall I make tea?
Man - Yes.

That is not Ron and Hermione. They'd add colorful adjective, let their emotions get the best of them, get loud because that's just how they are. Honestly, I practically fell asleep writing that fake script!)

Ron would beat the **** out of and/or abuse and/or cheat on Hermione... (

Ahem, excuse me... I think Hermione would be more likely, but even she would have to be coerced. They love one another too much to hurt the other emotionally or physically!)

I'm tired of typing. But that's the gist of it.

Exactly! BTS kiss was so good...why didn't they use it?

Yeah, with that I agree. Ron is my favorite character of Harry's generation, and it pisses me off to no end when I see posts saying Hermione deserved better. Why exactly? Fans are still butthurt over that incident when he left Harry and Hermione, but let's be honest, would they stay? Personally I can't say because I've never been in a situation like this one. But what he did was so human, and I can definitely see most people breaking down and leaving in the midst of a heated argument AND because they're scared. C'mon, just the three of them, on their own, in the woods, during a wartime, looking for the most dangerous wizard of all time. How many of them would come back, by the by? Isn't that the most defining aspect of his actions? He overcame his fears and insecurities and returned, because he loved and cared about his friends. Why is it being ignored? As much as I adore H/Hr, they were sometimes too perfect for my liking; Ron, on the other hand, came off as the most realistic and relatable character. He's not a boy who lived, he was not a genius, but he's kind and loyal and funny AND brave, and he'd grown more than anyone else had, coming from a place of prejudice. And if they still think Hermione deserved someone better, than can I have a friend/lover like him please!
