Yup! she was up and down in season 1 ... but scenes like that did show how much Brooke did value her friendship with Nathan! Just don't see how/why we couldn't get it more on screen.

yea, well she was a bit awful in the first half of season four but she definitely got better.

I felt both Nathan and Brooke started out bad in season 1... Nathan actually started out worst but he QUICKLY changed which I disliked... and than he'll show small shades of the jerk again. lol But he was mostly good. He sort of reverted back in season 2 when Haley left and I loved him like that. lol

Season 3, I felt was the most balance for Nathan as far as how I'd love the way for his character to remain. Not good bad, not good good, just who he is and has no apologizes for it.

Brooke's growth happens during her relationship with Lucas... not the beginning of it, but when she started to love him because I think Brooke always craved a love that she never got much of and when she found out about Peyton/Lucas... that sort of messed her growth a bit.

And than the whole faking about pregnancy... that was classic Brooke revenge!
Season 2 is when he growth sky rockets because her family loses pretty much everything and she has to learn how it is to live as a normal person and not that rich girl and I think it really helped her identify with others.

Both Nathan and Brooke had some huge parent issues. lol

They did both have parent issues. But I'm glad they both grew up and matured.

I loved when Nathan brought that up to Brooke before.

How they both had the same kind of bad mothers and fathers. lol I think he brought that up twice probably...
