I didn't trust her either! She's definitely spelling him with something. I thought it was a little strange that he's all of a sudden in love with her and marrying her.

No doubt about that. Maybe she was obsessed with him if she is from Asgard too and was always jealous of Freya and decided this time she would have him and not her.
