I was in the mood of watching Disney last night, so I watched Pocahontas. I have of coure seen it before, but it was a while ago. I think this is my favorite Disney couple actually. And I like the fact that they are real too, they have exsisted

It's a really great movie and I think the only disney movie that has shown a woman as a hero and independet other than a damsel in distress who needs to be saved. Have you seen the movie The New World with Colin Farrell??

the new world? no but it seems good & i love that christian bale is in it bc he was one of the voices for the dinsey movie

He doesn't play John, though. Colin Farrell plays him. It's beautoful movie. Not much talking, actually. More visuals and music

i actually did see The New World. it was a lovely movie.

there was barely any talking in the flick, but you can clearly sense something special between the two.

they went with historical fact. unfortunately, you can't really go against it. it sucks, i know.

i know, but it just didn't feel fair bc they didn't go with historical fact (well the john/pocahontas romance) in the first one, then they went the other way

i'm not quite sure why they went with a john/pocahontas romance in the first place, but i wasn't complaining.

i guess it was by popular demand due to the Disney flick.

I haven't seen the 2nd one, actually. Didn't even kn ew there was one :-) But I guess I shouldn't watch it now. They changed a little fact in the first movie, so why couldn't they change the fact that she choosed another man? :-) In real life, hse was actually just 14 when she met John Smith, but they changed it in the Disney to around 17
