they are making her be a crappy wife so when he cheats cause he is suffering, no one will blame him I want Alex to continue to be right on this, I don't want him to make a mistake as revenge. She is the wrong one and if we wanna see them together again, if we wanna see Izzie redeeming herself and apologizing, he needs to keep the 'right' by his side. I'll hate to see a character that evolved so much cheating again just because 'hey, she started'  That's alex 5 seasons ago, not now. I want him to show her he his better then her on this aspect, he didn't leave her and he didn't cheat, even when she was gone. If we want her to realize how wrong she is on all this, this is the only way. __________________

It makes me so sad to look at the pics in the OP and see how happy they were.
 I miss them! I want Izzie back and that everything will be okay then. But I know Shonda won't give this to us. Not now. TFTNT, Issa!  And welcome loveslullaby! Well, if Alex cheats, it really can't be considered cheating since her cheating with Denny wasn't considered cheating by the writers and she abandoned him. Don't get me wrong, Alex cheating is the last thing I want, but it wouldn't make him a terrible person, she left the marriage.

 cheating is cheating, izzie with denny wasn't considered cheating because it can't be considered cheating. There is no body, no flesh. Denny wasn't there. She had a brain tumor, she was very very sick, seeing, hearing and feeling things that were not there. I know it was disturbing since we actually saw him in the scenes, but in fact we have to picture her having sex with the air. It's very different from alex cheating on her with someone that is alive and he doesn't have a brain tumor. If he cheats, it can and it will be considered cheating. It'll be physical contact with other person that is not his wife. Cheating is cheating, I don't think it would make him a horrible person either, but sometimes you wonder how people can be so forgiving towards izzie, sometimes I think you are too forgiving towards alex. He is totally right to be angry in this situation, I don't want that to change. Cause if he cheats, he will be as wrong as her, if not more. __________________

Technically with Denny it wasn't cheating. But for her it WAS cheating. She thought Denny was there and had sex with him even though she was steady with Alex. It WAS cheating, that's why she felt guilty (not enough btw). For her, Denny was there and she both emotionally and physically cheated on Alex.
AGAIN, don't get me wrong. I will never want Alex to cheat and I'll hate if he does it. And legally, it would be cheating. BUT Izzie left, abandoned him. She doesn't plan to come back. The marriage is kinda over for her apparently, even though legally it isn't. I'm too defensive of Alex just because he gets more criticism than he deserves and Izzie gets less than she deserves I'm just trying to balance __________________

But for her denny was not real, she said that herself a thousand times. She was sure he was some kind of allucination. I'm not forgiving her for what she did, I agree with you that she shouldn't have 'had sex' with him even knowing he was not real. Ghost or not, it was another man, not Alex. I'm just trying to make a point that she was so mentally disoriented and ill that she said 'why can't I have you both?'   You can't take too serious the actions of a person who says that What I'm trying to say is that we can't forgive him in advance for cheating cause she left, it won't be okay if he does that. There is not excuses you know? Like there is no excuses for what she did. 'He cheated, but she abandoned him'. I never agreed with the but in that sentence, in all situations of my life. For me it's the same to say 'I cheated on the chemistry test, but hey, all my classmates did'. Does that make what you did okay? Or 'I won't visit my grandmother on the hospital, cause she treated my dad wrong her entire life'. Other people mistakes don't justify yours. A mistake from your boyfriend, husband or friend doesn't give you the right to do anything. Gives you the right to be mad, to yell, to break up if you want to. But it won't excuse any mistakes from your part. Otherwhise people would fix their relationships committing mistakes all the time, 'to balance' the errors of the partner. Relationships cannot be based on that math. If you choose to make a mistake, you'll have to assume the responsibilities and consequences of that mistake without putting the guilt on others. It was all you, even if you had reasons to do it. And I'm sure the marriage is not 'kinda over' for her We can't be too dramatic over this cause we know the reason why Izzie is absent in the show  Btw I don't see alex getting any criticism for a long time now, if you see that please show me, cause I'm gonna kick this person ass   He has been an awesome husband and person, and I hope it stays that way. The only way Izzie will realize how wrong she is in all this, is making him even better, if that's possible. Making him cheat will only put him in the same level, and we don't want that. One irresponsible person in the couple is enough And I wrote all that to say I'm not disagreeing with you in everything, I just don't agree that will be okay if he cheats cause she made a mistake first.
