I thought it was just the general story of their relationship developing after being separated from the rest of the group but after you mentioned it I went through the fic a bit and it's even more similar than I remember.

There was a part with awkward but comforting hand holding and another where they hide out in a trunk of a car. And I remember Michonne's "stupid gets you killed" or whatever was in there too. All of this before season 4 aired.

JFC. I don't know how the author didn't sue Scott Gimple's dumb**** ass.

Seriously. So many shows just need to hire fic writers.:lol; Or like we talked about a while back that we could watch the fics instead of just reading them. That would be so awesome.

Heather, it really would be awesome. Somebody needs to make a show where they adapt fanfic into episodes.

Same. It's always going to be the biggest "what if?". Not only for Beth and Daryl but even for the show itself. Season 4 and 5 were The Walking Dead's peak in ratings and popularity. That's a fact. I think it's safe to say that at the time Emily/Beth had easily the fastest growing fanbase. And then coda happened and Beth's ending was the beginning of people really starting to turn on the show. Who knows what could have happened if they had actually taken the time to continue her story like they had set up. I'd like to think that growth would have continued.
