I have theories but not really sure why it is. Most people seem to be dropping it more and more though. And Rick (and isn't Lauren gone now too) probably means a big drop too.

I saw a theory that the show is a basically just a good advertisement for its merch where a lot of the money comes from.

Apparently Lauren is done already and they didn't even mention it at all on the show, so it's like she just disappeared. It's kind of funny and sad at the same time.

Lauren is done for the season at the moment, but I think they are hoping she will back for some episodes next season (if it happens).

Yeah it's obvious they think she'll come back eventually. Pretty big assumption imo. But how the **** do they explain where she is when she can't be seen for a while?

Now that you mention it I can actually picture that happening. It makes sense in that nonsensical walking dead way. Like she's just right over there but you never, ever see her.

I guess it's easy for them to not show Maggie. All they have to do is mention her every now and then and that's it. But yeah I could also see them not even wanting to mention her at all. And why would they really need to. I think her storyline is pretty separate from the others.
