I think the audience needs to see build up in a Nate relationship because honestly we have never gotten much. NB's build up was pre-pilot, and in season 2 was non-exsistent, NJ came out of nowhere, NBree also happened off screen, NV was probably the Nate relationship with the most build up and that crashed and burned misserably at the end to stick him with Blair If they give NS good solid build up, which I think they are, then people can be like WOW Nate really has feelings for her v. WOW Nate's hooking up with ANOTHER girl

Exactly. The huge issue with the writers concerning Nate is the lack of direction. He just goes around in circles. With Serena, he knows what he wants. I'm just pissed off at S2 because it was kind of like, "Serena who?"

NV the first time were so random. I think, with NS, it's impossible to ignore the history behind them. Hopefully. These writers have been known to do some pretty "interesting" things.

It still pisses me off that instead of getting Nate talking to Serena about her family, we get DS... on the steps of Nate's house.

It wasn't just "Serena who?", after a couple of episodes it was "Vanessa who?" then "Jenny who?" then "Blair who?" The CW put it perfectly, a bad case of Archiburn. They need to fix that about him, they can't just tell us that he cares about someone and then completely take that back the next episode, it's so sloopy and it makes Nate look beyond flakey.

NV were a joke, in my opinion. They randomly had a fling and broke it off. No feelings hurt. OK. I could get behind that. Then, after the holidays they came back with deep feelings for one another.

Nate and switch. Those commercials were hysterical. It's pathetic that it got to a point where the network had to make fun of their own character.

I remember the rumors that were swirling around about NS in the finale. Like about them hooking up and crap. I'm so glad they waited until S3.

We're definitely going to reach 1000 soon. The fact that we already have so many people is testament to how amazing NS's scenes have been, no matter how few there actually are.

Of course the CB number is that high. I think it's within 100 of the number on LJ too.

I would love for them to hook up at the end of the season. Their friendship needs to be reestablished. Of course, by episode 15 I'll probably be like JUST MAKE OUT ALREADY PLS.

I know what you mean. I want them to build this beautiful story with NS, and reconnect pieces of the puzzle, but at the same time they're TOO DAMN HOT.
