season 1 I adore these two more than words. Both characters are at their best. Dan is so sweet dorky and romantic.

Serena is so independent, fierce, strong.

Yes and how he said I care about serena a lot. What happened to the sweet Dan I used to love? Serena didn't drink and she was more grounded with him, came home on time, got better grades.

So I'm back into my season 3 watch, and at least there is no awkwardness with them, they can talk and hang out and it's not icky. But they still gravitate to one another. Her spending the night at the loft, to avoid telling her mom about not going to Brown...more there to me than just 'hiding out'.
