Obviously, I don't think they planned Dan to be GG since the pilot, but I like how they kind of started getting the idea back in Season 5 and just developing it from there.

I kind of would have been fine not knowing and just leaving that a mystery that would never be resolved among the GG-verse.

Is S going by Serena Humphrey or Serena Van Der Woodsen-Humphrey?

I'm curious what everyone thinks S calls herself now.

She could stay Van Der Woodsen and just be addressed as Mrs. Humphrey.

I think she probably enjoys being Serena Humphrey but she still is famously referred to as Serena Van Der Woodsen.

Thanks for the new thread. I thought it might say Mr and Mrs GG after Shu's signature.

We need their wedding stuff to be front and center in the OP.

Just saw your post, Shu. Thanks. I admit I'm curious to hear SS' thoughts on the finale.

I hope they do episode commentary on the DVD release.

IDK what Serena will go by now, but I just decided to add the "Humphrey" after her name just because I had to!

She could be legally "Serena Humphrey", but still be addressed/known as Serena Van Der Woodsen, but wants people to call her "Mrs. Humphrey".

If someone artistic wants to re-design the OP, I will be more than happy to add it in!

I see her taking on Humphrey but having it hyphenated with VDW. She is who she is, but Dan is now a part of that too- officially. Hell, I bet Dan would even hyphenate his own name with VDW

I hope hope hope there's something extra for us on the DVD!

Serena might just go by Humphrey now because VDW hasn't always been good to her.

I know, but I think the show made the point that Dan thought Serena was always running away, and he wanted her to accept who she is. She seemed to agree in that last scene before the wedding. Changing her name to Humphrey obviously doesn't mean she doesn't want to be SVDW, but idk, it would just be sweet to have a combo

"Serena Van Der Woodsen-Humphrey" I'd hate to write that out everyday!

What do y'all think about DS sharing a sibling and people thinking it's gross? For me, as long as there is no direct blood between DS, I have no problem with it. Plus, they only met him once and I just think it's ridiculous people are making a big deal about it.
