It's super cute! A bit rushed but I think that Sandra and Ryan have great chemistry.

I can't remember all the movie couples I love but here are the main ones...

Tom/Jane (Becoming Jane)
Darcy/Elizabeth (Pride and Prejudice)
Henry/Danielle (Ever After)
Max/Penelope (Penelope)
Robbie/Cecilia (Atonement)
Landon/Jamie (A Walk to Remember)
Sam/Josie (Never Been Kissed)
Jack/Rose (Titanic)

And because they're from a mini-series, so it's neither TV nor Movie I'm putting
John/Margaret (North and South)

I actually really love the Keira Knightley version of P&P. I think she's a great Elizabeth. Matthew isn't bad as Darcy but Colin Firth is Darcy... period.

I really loved the Joe Wright/Keira version of P&P as well, but I know I'd love the Colin Firth one also!

I thought the scene in the rain where they fought was absolutely incredible in the movie! And Keira's performance was my favorite female performance of that year.

Oh, I just figured the 'Couples of the Moment' thread included any COTM - real-life, movies, tv, etc...at least, I've always posted any of my COTMs in there. But yeah, you're right, ones other than TV couples usually do get overlooked.

Still...

Robert/Lisa - Come September - They are so effin' adorable!

Luke/Rebecca - Confessions of a Shopaholic - They were made of such win!

Keira was okay but after watching Colin Firth as Darcy its hard to imagine anyone else Also it wasnt good how they tried to condense the movie into two hours. I like the 6 hour version better

I feel kind of bad for anyone that plays Darcy because they're always going to be compared to Colin. I do however think they did a good job of condensing the whole story into two hours. I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I love the BBC version but it gets too long when I just want a quick Darcy/Elizabeth fix.

I know what you mean. I also found the girl they cast as Jane in the BBC version plain and she didnt have any charm, so I wasnt interested in her romance with Bingley, lol. But I thought Darcy/Elizabeth worked good together in the BBC version. But now when I watch it I just FF to the scenes I like.

I completely agree. The BBC series is far superior, I hated the Hollywood one too. Colin Firth is Mr.Darcy. End of. Besides I thought Jennifer and Colin had good chemistry as well.

Yeah, I watched it for the first time the other night. I'm seriously obsessing over them, atm. I love how he got her green scarf back for her. So sweet!

Just noticed how horribly I butchered "weekend". Apparently I can't spell.

"You sold everything but kept that dress." I loved that both bidders were him. I gotta say I loved the dancing scene though.... with the fan and she kept hitting him with her hair. And when he took her to that presentation after he caught her "googling." "Long pause, no answer." They were so cute there.
