Yes, her struggle in that episode was so well written and acted. You could feel her turmoil in every single scene. I also liked that this time, she was upfront with Brooke about her feelings for Lucas. She definitely learned from past mistakes and didn't want to hide it from her. I think Brooke was the primary reason why she buried her feelings for Lucas for so long.

She did learn from past mistakes and not everyone sees it that way.
