I wish someone would do an AU one with Elena (or write a fanfic) about Elena saving him and his family from their coffins.

But question...if there is only one dagger that can kill an original, and that one dagger is inside Elijah...how did Klaus kill the rest of them?

At least she pulled out the dagger from Elijah. I don't know what will happen in the next chapters

Most I can figure is that there was one dagger per Original. The reason that final dagger became considered the only one in existence is because the others were in other Originals.

I think Daniel said something about Elijah being aware of exactly the kind of hold Elena has on him He's fallen for her by that point he just doesn't know what to do with that kind of emotion.

It makes me wonder when he started falling for hr. Was it so late as after she pulled the dagger out? If so, those are some very strong feelings to develop over the course of a few days. Or was it building from 2x11?
