When they switch couples because their couple is separated or in trouble they are not real fans. Only true fans stick to their couple go through bad and good times.

I just can't help, but think, that the longer JRE are apart, the more epic/rewarding their reunion will be!

If CE break up it will be one step in the right direction at least. Who knows what might happen after that. Maybe they'll realize JRE never got any closure and go back to them if they get bored of JR/PR. I can't see any couple lasting too long on Dallas. Even Bobby and Pam didn't last on the old Dallas and they were actually kind of amazing.

Yes, but they had several seasons. I fear we won't have more than 3 or 4 seasons until the series ends.

I have no interest to see PR/JR as a couple. It's even worse than CE for me because I see them more as brother/sister than lovers.
