I don't remember if Josh and especially James did, but I do remember Katie was pro P/J and in some ad for the series finale she said it ended the right way. So it seems Katie wanted Pacey and Joey to end up together. I can't imagine Joshua didn't want the same lol. I would be shocked if JVDB did, you would assume he would want D/J to end up together. Thank God they didn't, it wouldn't of made sense or been believable considering the history of how they always combusted minutes into another attempt to be together. Pacey and Joey were the love of each other's life, so it ended the way it should have.

I agree. Besides D/J never lasting any time they give it another try the pairing is toxic, and got EXTREMELY toxic and abusive S3 and beyond. I freaking hate abusive and toxic couples, so I'm glad Joey wasn't TRAPPED in that at the end of the show just like Dawson blackmailed her and trapped her to settle for him at the end of S3.

PJ wasn’t toxic at all. Yes they had fights and yes he yelled at Joey at prom but they always worked it out and came out better for it. If anything all the other relationships on that show were toxic.

lol A bitter Dawson/Joey fan that is still mad Pacey/Joey ended up together must of made that list. They love to lie and say P/J did nothing but fight, but like all couples they had a few disagreements but unlike D/J they worked it out and became stronger afterwards. Usually mature and adult couples work out their problems and come out of them stronger. Dawson and Joey are the ones that had vicious fights all the time (and over dumb, immature things) and would lie to each other or not work it out and let it fester for the longest time. Pacey always let Joey move on and didn't interfere in her other relationships, he also sacrificed himself for Joey many times (but she wouldn't let him cause she loved Pacey and wanted her future to be with him) and respected her choices. Dawson usually manipulated her and if she didn't fall in line, would viciously attack her to knowingly hurt her. So they need to look up what toxic means if they think P/J are that over D/J. Please, but as usual their in the minority lmao.
