Lauren, how do you make these gifs? I can do it with still images merged together by picasion, but how do you do it with clips from video? This is a vital skill currently lacking from my repertoire.

Well it's complicated to explain but I use imageready and photoshop. I'd youtube search "how to make GIFS" there's loads of tutorials which can explain much better than I can.

No worries, I'll have a look at YT.
@Sarah, Yes, summer definitely sounds better...though I was in Yamba over the Queen's Birthday weekend and it wasn't as cold as I thought it would be. It rained the whole bloody time, but I only had a jumper on instead of a parka!
