♥ Thor: played by Chris Hemsworth



Born to privilage, Thor, son of Odin, heir to the realm of Asgard, is a spoiled,
stubborn, and headstrong young man. He has yet to learn the ways of a true king, thus his rash actions bring disgrace and danger to his home
world. Disappointed by the behaviour of his son, Odin hopes to teach Thor a lesson and banishes him to earth. Here he meets a
mortal woman who helps shape him into the king he is destined to be...

♥ Their Lღ ve Story
Banished from his home world, Thor literally crashes into Jane. When he opens his eyes, she is the
first thing he see's. This beautiful, intelligent mortal woman takes responsibility for the self proclaimed God, despite the
fact that she does not know what to make of him. Their attraction is instant and Thor makes Jane feel feminine and protected. In
turn she teaches him humility and kindness. After sacrificing his life to save Jane and her world, Thor's powers are restored
and he leaves earth, bound for Asgard, but promises that he will be back for her... someday...

Admission Nurse: Name?
Jane : He said, it was, Thor.

Jane : What was that?
Thor: It was delicious! I want another.
Jane : Well, you could have just said so!
Thor: I just did.
Jane : No. I mean ask nicely!
Thor: I meant no disrespect.
Jane : All right. Well, no more smashing. Deal?
Thor: You have my word.
Jane : Good.

Jane : I'm sorry. But I can't take you.
Thor: Then this is where we say goodbye.
[he takes her hand and kisses it]
Jane : Uh...thank you!

[as Jane is driving Thor to get his hammer]
Jane : I've never done anything like this before. Have you ever done anything like this before?
Thor: Many times. But you're brave to do it.
Jane : Well, they just stole my entire life's work. I didn't really have much left to lose.
Thor: But you're clever.
Jane : Thanks.
Thor: Far more clever than anyone else on this realm.
Jane : Realm? Realm?
Thor: You think me strange?
Jane : Yeah, I do!
Thor: Good strange, or bad strange?
Jane : I'm not quite sure yet.

Jane : Describe exactly what happened to you last night.
Thor: Your ancestors called it magic...
[Thor skims through a book on Norse mythology]
Thor: ...but you call it science. I come from a land where they are one and the same.

Jane : I grazed him. But she tasered him.
Darcy : Yes, I did.

[pointing to the name tag on the shirt he's about to put on]
Thor: What is this?
Jane : Oh!
[she takes off the name tag from the T-shirt]
Jane : My ex! Good with patience and bad with relationships! Uh...they're the only clothes I had that would fit you.
Thor: They will suffice.
[he walks away from her]
Jane : You're welcome!
Thor: This mortal form has grown weak. I need sustenance!

[as Thor sets out to get his hammer]
Jane : Where you going?
Thor: Fifty miles west of here.
Jane : Why?
Thor: To get what belongs to me.
Jane : Oh, so you own a satellite now?
Thor: It's not what they say it is.
Jane : Well, what ever it is, the government seems to think it's theirs. So you just intend to go in there and take it?
Thor: Yes. If you take me there now, I'll tell you everything you wish to know.
Jane : Everything?
Thor: Yes. All the answers you seek will be yours, once I reclaim Mjöllnir.

Jane : I'm sorry. But I can't take you.
Thor: Then this is where we say goodbye.
[he takes her hand and kisses it]
Jane : Uh...thank you!
Thor: Jane Foster. Erik Selvig. Darcy. Farewell.

Jane : But who are you? Really?
Thor: You'll see soon enough.
Jane : You promised me answers.
Thor: What you seek, it's a bridge.
Jane : Like an Einstein-Rosen Bridge?
Thor: More like a rainbow bridge.
Jane : God, I hope you're not crazy!

Thor: Now stay here. Once I have Mjöllnir, I will return the items they've stolen from you. Deal?
Jane : No. Look what's down there? You think you're just gonna walk in, grab our stuff, and walk out?
Thor: No. I'm gonna fly out.

Y'know, I think we may be getting carried away here. I saw something a bit earlier on LJ which quoted the same thing exactly, and there it clearly said Jaimie was ASKED about the Thor/Sif thing. So she wasn't just ramming it down or going on about it, but was answering a question properly. And I can't blame her, a romance with Thor would be great for her character development and stardom. Also, she IS a fan of the comics and knows there's Thor/Sif in there too.

She also says that nothing has been confirmed at all, so we still really don't know anything for certain - other than she WILL be in Thor 2.

To be honest, you never know how honest the actors are being anyway, maybe she's been told to say stuff like that to arouse interest, or she was just thinking, y'know, that would be cool. Also, as you don't see or hear them in these written ones, it's so hard to guage what they really mean/their enthusiasm etc. (Though they are actors, so it could be put on! LOL!)

So I don't think we should be starting the I hate Jaimie fan club yet at all.

(And seriously, after seeing all those Thor deleted scenes last night, I'm even more into Sif/Loki AND now we know Loki is coming back and possibly having a redemption storyline... Well, they could just as easily go down that route. In fact, maybe the whole Thor/Sif is only a smokscreen anyway!)

Edit to add - just re-read it and she uses the word "explore" too, which means she doesn't necessarily advocate a full on romance anyway!

I understand the movie biz and sometimes things are beyond the control of actors and in the hands of studios and execs. I have no issue with Jaime. Im annoyed at Sif i suppose. Even though i know the triangle is coming, i think Jane and Thor are so above that

Yeah, Jane and Thor should be wayyy above that, and Sif too, but sadly that's never stopped film makers and writers throwing in completely annoying and ridiculous love triangles.

Why can't they think of a different type of obstacle to throw in the way of love than the (imo) cliched, boring and usually incredibly annoying love triangle. I don't hate on Thor/Sif or anything, but Thor/Jane has just been so well set up and Sif/Thor so far seem too much like friends and brother/sister.

I hate the love triangles with the fire of a thousands suns. Really, Can´t a woman ship without be worry for a love triangle. I saw that triangle coming.
I do hope that be a love triangle and not that they erase Jane completly.

This.I completlly agree.All three of them are above that and to make a triangele would just be dissapointing.Jane and Thor have enough obsticles already and that's needed is Sif beeing heartbroken over Thor loving another woman when they clearly have a brother-sister/best friends relationship in Thor.It's just.Ugh.

I know! Not only totally out of character if they make a big deal of it, but sooooo cliched and no doubt it'll drive me crazy. Still, maybe the powers that be will be sensible and NOT do what every other film trilogy has done and give us a stupid, pointless love triangle. Though saying that, if a heartbroken Sif ends up seeing comfort in Loki's arms, I don't think I'd be toooo upset!

It seems that Jane and Sif are not going to be part of the triangle after all. Thor- Loki and Black widow would be.

Thank you for the new thread! Great title!

I hate how some make it out that Thor and Sif were the main love story/true love story. I've read up on it and it didn't even come close to a love story more out of family obligation and political reasons. He loved Jane, but because of some silly test she didn't pass they were kept apart. I really hope the films don't go that way. Anyway why cast Natalie Portman in that role if she isn't going to be the main love interest? Nothing against Jaimie.

Triangles. Ick. Every fandom has them, every fandom will always have them. If they're done well, then they're rather enjoyable, but most of the time they're just there to be an inconvenience to the fangirl. I can say tho, that most triangles, while painful and cliche, always tend to bring to light a deeper emotional bond/commitment with the main pair, then there would probably be without it.
