Ewww, I just watched Caregiver and the whole Ima/Jax "give me a lift" thing has me wishing I didn't decide to watch s3 again already.

I wonder what they'll do with Ima this season. I don't really want to care, but you figure they've gotta confront that snafu somehow, for Tara.

Hey everybody!

Wow! The thread has exploded! Bambi I snagged one of your icons. I hope that's okay. Tara just looked too fierce to ignore.

I know this is old news, but Naz thanks again so much for posting the videos. They are going a long way towards clearing the ill will I had towards Jax during season 3. I had an almost embarrassingly emotional reaction to the second one.

I love him again. So it's just best all around that I don't watch the middle of the season again. The only reason I'll watch Firinne on the DVD is to get the commentary from Sutter, Katey, Maggie, and Charlie. And okay, for Kozik's heartfelt plea on Tara's behalf and Tig calling her sweetheart.

Speaking of, did anyone see Kim on Entourage the other night. Talk about brutal, but just beautifully acted.

ETA-Oh yeah, Caregiver where Jax and Tara aren't even close to breaking up and Ima asks him "for a ride" and he gives her that creeper grin that tells the audience he's totally planning to sleep with her that night. That grin is the main reason why I call bull****** on Jax's and Kurt's "I hurt Tara because I love Tara and I'm protecting her." When did Jax turn into an overly libidinous Edward Cullen???

Wait! Nope... I guess the bitterness is still there. It is easing though.

And YES I saw Kim on Entourage the other night! I don't watch the show and was just waiting for True Blood so I had no idea what was going on, but holy hell that blew my mind. No pun intended.

I am going to give Sutter and Charlie this, I had a visceral reaction to Jax's behavior from Caregiver to Bainne. Keep in mind that by the time I started watching season 3 on Hulu, I'd already seen June Wedding and NS. And yup, I'm still bitter.

And I go back and forth on Tara being the one to knock Imaho out. On one hand I feel that Tara is so above her and that. She's a surgeon, she has two kids. She shouldn't lower herself. And then on the other I just want her to give the porn tramp the same beating she gave Margaret.

Bambi, exact same thing. Am not in the least bit an Entourage fan. But my dear sweet baboo deleted True Blood off the DVR because he watched already and didn't realize I hadn't. Anyway, while I was waiting to catch the replay, I started watching Entourage because I remembered Kim was going to be on...and like you said blew me away. Also, I'm little pissed by how little Jason/Jessica we got. Like, was that Alcide/Debbie scene really necessary?

I really hope they take Ima in a new direction. If she's still a trouble maker, maybe her beef is with Lyla over the face slap. For her to still act as a wedge in the J/T dynamic will bore and irritate me. If she's going to stick around, they need to find some depth for her. She doesn't have to be likable, but she desperately needs to be written to be more complicated.

Re Tara- I don't want Tara to even allow Ima on her radar. I say this now, but if they write a scene where Ima so much as raises a sardonic eyebrow at Tara, I'm going to be screaming for a beatdown.

Buffy and Angel, I think I'm the only person in the entire fandom who just absolutely hated them together. Loved Buffy. Loved Angel. Buffy and Angel, could not stand. Such a double edge sword, cause I hated them in other relationships because they belonged together but I didn't want to see them together.

And yeah. If Tara is subjected to that smug smirk of Ima's, I want Tara to elbow her in the face (can't have her hurting her hands). And if Jax gives Ima his creeper grin, I may want someone to punch him in the face.

I'm still reeling over the fact that there IS a Jason/Jessica That came so far out of left field for me. But I'm kind of digging it. But I'm with you on the Alcide/Debbie, their scenes just seem pointless to me.

I don't want Tara to acknowledge Ima at all. I want her to walk past her, holding Thomas and Abel, and not say a single word. I (think, haven't decided for sure yet ) would like Jax to address what happened somehow, though. Like, I hope she comes onto him and he completely turns her down. That would sort of make up for the lack of an apology scene between JT, for me at least.

ETA - Just watched Turning and Turning. Tara tells Gemma she's six weeks pregnant, so is it fair to assume that she knew she was pregnant during the kidnapping of Abel and that's why she didn't do more? This is like the biggest unsolved mystery on this show to me

SRSLY.. i almost caught myself drooling because of the slack jawed, dopey grin i had on my face - every time i watched it I think for all of us, that scene is like a healing balm because S3 was a painful one for J/T shippers.

Re Ima. I want her to be put in her proverbial place. Gemma didnt give Tara the "you're a badass Old Lady" speech for nothing. And if Ima even steps into the same vacinity as Tara, she better know to back the hell out slowly. And frankly, Jax should know better than to have her hanging around after all that **** last season. I also want to make it clear that i dont heap all the blame on Ima and see Jax as innocent. He was definitely intereseted - no matter what his reasons - and she was going after what she wanted. Reeeal classy of course, but yeah. I just want her GONE!!!

re jax and ima: it definitely takes two to tango. And I completely agree with Lucky, if Jax even looks at that girl, I'm gonna need someone to punch him in his gorgeous face. And Ima needs to be put in her place. Actually I'd really love it if there was just some reference to the fact that it already happened. Like, Jax or someone who's been in lock up for 14 months notices how Ima is frightened of Tara or even Gemma and Opie says, "well a broken nose will do that to a girl" or something along those lines.

Bambi, I always felt like that's why she didn't do more. Turning and Turning was, what, four/five days after the kidnapping. If she didn't know she strongly suspected.

Oh, I don't blame Ima, I blame Jax. But I don't want to see Ima again for the same reason I never need to see Trinity, they make me remember just how much I disliked Jax for the majority of season 3.



The thing is, I really don't think Sutter was prepared for how...badly Jax came off last season (really how badly everyone came off in Ireland-the gun on the baby thing is still silly). And it seems like a lot of the audience were just so over Jax's behavior, that his pain stopped registering. The last thing Sutter needs is for people to start disliking his leads. So with any luck we'll never revisit any of those people in Ireland again.

Ally, I can really get behind that idea. Also, Odin's beard, woman. That chapter with Jax tracing Tara's tattoo . You have no idea how many times I've read that.
