Jake/Emily (Jericho) #2: Nothing Compares.
Hey Guys! Welcome to the  Jake Green/Emily Sullivan from Jericho Appreciation Thread! ^^^Made by, Whatsername Why do we call them, Bonnie & Clyde? Well, we actually have Heather to thank for it, since when she was asking Emily about her and Jake when they were younger, she mentioned how they seemed like a young, Bonnie and Clyde (just the two of them against the world, raising hell togther), and how cute it was. Because they are not over...not even close. Because they have a romantic song, Nothing Compares 2 U. Because he rushed to save her life when he heard that she was in trouble. Because her father told her that Jake still loves her. Because Emily and Jake know each other better than anyone else. Because Jake's heart belongs to Emily, not Heather. Because Emily fantisized about Jake coming to the church. Because Emily had stayed in town even without her brother, her mother, and father...perhaps hoping that Jake will return. Because Jake wants to keep Emily safe. Because they danced to their song. Because they almost kissed. Because she held his hand twice...at least. Because she said that he was a good guy for wanting to help people he did not know. Because she surprised him with a kiss on the cheek. Because he looked worried when he saw that Emily was hurt. Because they joke around with each other. Because Jake proposed to Emily when they were teenagers. Because there is only room for Jake in Emily's heart. Because anyone can see that Jake loves Emily just by the way he looks at her. Because Emily wanted to help Jake save his father. Because she even went to her father to help Jake's sick father. Because Jake was mad at Emily's father for putting her in danger. Because Jake can tell when Emily is lying. Because Jake and Emily always talk about their past together, their memories. Because Emily asked Jake about the kiss he had with Heather...jealous... Because Jake owes Emily a lot. Because Emily's father compared the love he had with her mother to the love that Emily and Jake still share. Because even Heather realizes that Emily and Jake still have feelings for each other. Because Jake finally remembered "their" song and played it for Emily. Because they danced very closely to each other as if they were never apart. Because Jake called Emily 'babe'. Because Jake is the only one who calls her Em. Because Emily risked her life to get the generator from her father in order to prevent Jake from possibly getting killed. Because they used to be 'wild' in high school. Because they playfully shove each other. Because Emily joined the Green family for Thanksgiving. Because he got really mad at her for putting her life at risk to protect him and yet at the same time, he was impressed with her fiery side. Because Jake's father notices Jake/Emily's flirtations, and therefore wants April to have a girl...lol. Because it's the classic tale of the guy, who's still in love with the girl he left behind. I have 5 faves...
-Their dancing moment -Their church moment -Their hand holding moment (when she holds his hand after he's come back from getting medicine for Johnston) -Their cornfield moment -Their hand holding moment (when she reaches for his hand, while on the gourney, after being hurt) I adored the utter romance of the first two (even, if the 2nd was just a dream), and the cuteness that was the third one, just owned me!  And, just how they find solace in holding each other's hand's...just |

I also love the Thanksgiving scenes...cuz they were so daughter-in-law comes to visit. Awww...and the way Jake's dad was watching him wtih that knowing look. And how Jake playfully shoved her as he walked by her...pure brilliance. I also LOVE his facial expression when he sees that Em is the one who stole the generator! LOL...and their conversation after when she's like "why can't you just say good job!" and he's like, "what, no??" LOL... I also love the kiss on the cheek scene cuz once again Jake looks so pleasantly surprised...It was just touching...Every single time she does something physical to him, whether holding his hand or giving him a kiss on the cheek, or playfully shoving him....He is so affected by it all.
