wow, another new thread! awesome....
we have been getting some great scenes from them recently... sad to think that it might end to a degree once they ramp up on the triangle crap... but I agree, hopefully that does not become a series long thing. Not sure that I could handle that... even a season long one might be a bit much for me right now. I'm simply enjoying them too much __________________

With the exception of the TVD (and possibly the Originals) franchise. Is their any other love triangle that is really a series long thing? I mean I have seen a few triangles last for a couple of seasons, but other than that. I haven't seen any other series long ones.
But I wonder if the fans absolutely hate the triangle if they will axe it sooner than expected. Honestly I will admit I think the only reason why I can't handle a series long triangle is because most likely Francis & Mary will get married. Hopefully this season (maybe in the S1 finale), because I don't know how they can prolong their engagement for so long. However, I also want Mary and Francis to be faithful and happy with each other. Strangely I'm more concern about Mary being the unfaithful one, than Francis is. __________________

True, but Gossip Girl never had a main love triangle that was established in S1 and ended in the series finale. It had a bunch of small ones, but no particular main one. As for OTH (I consider S6 to be the final season, considering my fav. characters/pairing left).
But still, I think the triangle for Regin will get rather repetitive if a series long thing. __________________

Oh I agree.
I'm also not a fan of fanpandering either (even though the CW does it a lot). Considering it has ruined a lot of shows for me. Now I think its a bit to soon to know whether or not Reign will fanpander or not. But as of right now, I consider Francis/Mary to be main the pairing. Considering if the series is about Mary's younger years and they possibly won't go into her other husbands/downfall. I think the series would probably end with Francis death. Assuming it gets a final season. __________________
