I don't like the way he said it to Emma either, but I think in a way it was all part of a show (along with the flowers and wine). Through the previous conquests he had, John Ross never brought that stuff (that I recall anyway) for Pamela, Elena, Allison Jones, Marta del Sol or the random girl in the beginning of S2. And yes, I don't think he wants Pamela to know because it will hurt her and cause serious havoc in their marriage because he has no idea how she will take it. That is why I think how Pamela reacts and carries herself will be crucial to how it all plays out.

Emma will burn John Ross and is plotting against him already for something unknown to us or he will burn her by using her and she will want revenge. Either way, this affair will end badly for both. Emma will probably further unravel and John Ross will see him marriage hit the skids. Plus everyone in the family will freak out.

Also on a separate note, I'm beginning to wonder if the news about "Nicholas Trevino" the Latin gambler playboy who is joining the cast is meant for Pamela. Originally I thought he was Joaquin (either changed his name or is using his middle name or something) and Elena and he would be a couple. That could easily still be the case.

However, it doesn't seem to entirely fit. The place Elena went to in the final scene of S2 doesn't look like a place a billionaire playboy would live. And also, Elena doesn't seem like the type to date or be in cahoots with someone like that. Maybe Trevino and Joaquin are two separate characters.

It made me wonder if he has something to do with Pamela or someone that is potentially interested in her is because he is a billionaire (like her) but also a gambler. Barnes Global made it quite clear they own hotels and casinos (not just in the energy biz) so perhaps he is a highroller or someone she met previously on business. He sounds like a dark character and alot like John Ross, so maybe his role is to be a business rival to John Ross and someone who is pursuing Pamela...making John Ross jealous. Just a thought.

I didn't now Nicholas will a billionaire and I thought he could be Elena's uncle but even if it's quite obvious that her family had money in Mexico, her dad could buy a land in Texas that could've have oil, I doubt it was that much.

Now I think he might be for Pamela.

Joaquin is for Elena going by the sides. I never heard the other name though so that might be the case. I don't know how I feel about two "interlopers." One seems enough and I think Emma is going to be a whole lot of problems for them both,

Emma posted a pic of her dressed with her typical cowgirl outfit and it made me think about Aaron's tweet about Heather. I think Emma will befriend Heather and she will catch John Ross and Emma and will tell Chris? and possibly ruin whatever business JR had in mind.

I dont necessarily want another person to come between JRPR in the form of a Latino billionaire playboy BUT I think John Ross needs to get a wake up call that his wife is a catch herself and other men will be interested in her. For all I know, there is no man for Pamela and this guy is for Elena. I was just throwing out a thought.

And John Ross could sleep with Emma still for a couple of reasons. Maybe she has more documents he wants, she blackmails him by threatening to tell Pamela or maybe he enjoys having someone like her to do his bidding and to have random sex with. The writers could take it a few different ways. I don't like it, but I think they'll sleep together at least one more time (cause someone needs to catch them to stir up trouble).

If JR doesn't see that his wife is a catch he's blind. Christopher, As much as I didn't and don't think he deserves anyone really saw Pamela and wanted her and he had no idea who she was, So it's not really a long shot that someone else will want her as well.

Ugh. I hate all those options.

Well I think a lot of this will be a journey for John Ross. Coping with JRs death, being married, etc. In a way, I'm glad some of this stuff happened so early on rather then it popping up later on...because once he says "I love you"...I feel him cheating and being like this would've stung more...but since he hasn't and is so guarded, when he says it he may truly mean it. Doesn't excuse what he did but it does give context. I just hope it's not too late for Pamela to forgive him.

And I think John Ross knows Pamela is a catch (part of the reason he wanted to marry her), but I also think he believes he is smarter or savvier than her and that's why he can get away with Emma. But if Pamela did it to him, I think he'd flip out. Pamela (which was so sweet, but I wish she didn't say it) told him she loves him and that probably makes JR3 thinks she is in his pocket....and will take her for granted. So if some guy starts trying to woo her, it may make John Ross wake up and realize how good he has it.

Just my thoughts, anyway.
