Locke should be in Australia for the walkabout thingy... So after they rejected him, maybe he did something stuipid and end up in the hospital?
Or he decided to hit the bottle in a bar... And he and Jack cross ways.

I knew Locke was a jater Where there was a Locke problem, Jack and Kate resolved it together. When there was a jate problem Locke resolved it alone to get Jack and Kate together

Locke was bipolar tho sometimes he interrupted Jate and sometimes he blow up submarines just to keep Jate together
