JACK: Er sure, ok, just tell me how large an area you need.

JACK: The largest one is not available right now. Can you hold on for a second, let me see if I...

[Kate turns, and realizes the empty condom packs are no longer there. Ben sits a little further away staring at the two of them. Jack hangs up on Minkowski]

JACK: Where are the empty condom packs?

BEN: (Grins, and mutters very softly “I dunno”).

KATE: I found a condom trail. I think it's Locke. He's headed West across the Island.

JACK: So you found a condom trail, we're going after HIM right now.

KATE: But if Locke didn't want us to find the condoms then he could have created a dummy trail. I think we should follow both just in case.

JACK: Kate, six hours from now we're gonna be Jexing on a boat laughing about the fact that there was one final condom trail that we couldn't agree upon. Locke is crazy, he ran into the jungle with condoms, he's not thinking about leaving fake trails.

KATE: You're right.

JACK: I'll track him down, why don't you get everybody back to the beach.

KATE: You got it.

[Kate hugs Jack, as Ben watches]

KATE: Be careful, ok?

[Juliet pulls on the cuffs to keep Kate where she is]

[Kate pulls on the cuffs to make Juliet follow...Suddenly, thunder crackles and rain pours down]

KATE: Come on, if the trail gets away I'll lose it.

JULIET: I hope you're not dragging me all the way back there with you, to have Jex with Jack.

KATE: Excuse me?!

JULIET: I hope you're not going back, for JEX. Because I was standing right there, when Jack told you not to come back for JEX. And now that you've slept during Jex...

[Kate punches Juliet in the face, and the two begin to fight violently. Kate twists Juliet's arm]

KATE: You done? I SAID ARE YOU DONE!

[A crack signals that Kate has dislocated Juliet's arm. Juliet screams]

KATE: You know the reason better than I do. Now what?

JACK: Now, now we go have more Jex.

KATE: If I didn't know any better, I'd say you're worried about me, Jack.

JACK: If I didn't know any better, I'd say you have no problem jexing in that dangerous place, Kate. So, you want to tell me where we're really jexing next?

KATE [showing the condoms to Jack]: Sayid gave me this so we can triangulate the jex signal -- find the source of all the jex mojo.

JACK: let's jex, then.

[Kate smiles and looks back at him.]

JACK: (looking down) Well, our jex is perfect. There's no arguing with that.

[When Jack looks up at Kate, her smile fades. He steps closer to Kate and holds a condom out of his pocket.]

JACK: Hey. You wanna jex?

KATE: (softly) Yeah. Just, I... I love jexing you with him. (pause) I'm so glad we're always jexing. (pause) I'm so glad that we never run out of jex condoms anymore.

JACK: (whispers) Me too.
