I think that was the turning point for their relationship and when i knew there was no way they weren't going to be canon

It did show the incredible bond they had, & how both of them were embracing it more & more. I definitely felt like they were in love with each other there, but I still didn't quite trust the writers to follow through

another ship of mine had a similar scene and they were never canon at the end

That sucks. I honestly try not to have any ships anymore when I watch new shows because I'm tired of being screwed over by writers
