My all time heartbreaking, gut wrenching breakups are:

Ross/Rachel
Buffy/Angel
Dylan/Brenda
Zack/Kelly
Jax/Brenda

Years later and I still get teary-eyed watching these scenes.

Also, the Sonny/Brenda wire scene breakup. I didn't ship this couple, but that was a crazy emotional scene.

Upthread, when I said that B/A were one of my all time most heartbreaking emotional breakups, I was thinking about the one from Buffy season 3 (the way Buffy tells Willow that she can't breathe literally kills every single time). But I had forgotten about the IWRY breakup. That one was also just...I can't even...

SMG killed in both scenes.

You probably need to acknowledge you're in a relationship for it to be a considered a breakup but still I think this counts....

I remember the first time I saw this scene , I bawled like a baby the song made that scene even more poignant, now whenever I listen to 'She Has No Time', my mind always wanders back to this.

I still cannot watch this scene without becoming emotionally numb even though I know they get by.
