The scene is everything I hate about Chuck, Chair and Gossip Girl. Yeah Chuck put Blair first, That's why he sold her for a hotel and then told her she went up on her own.

No, he's just an immature wanna be business man who can't keep his personal and professional lives separate and blames Blair for his failings.

Did they do this to justify Derena sex? Because they would.
