Ι don't like them either... like AT ALL....but I go back and forth on the "fanservice" argument. I'm fairly sure GRRM is also planning to go that way in the end so I get why the show went that way too. However I do feel there is a sort of OTPness they've been pushing when it comes to them, on the show that I feel is more about appeasing the fans that narratively motivated and that bugs me a lot... especially since I don't like them for other reasons too.

Kara/ Mon El - I think they trash. The fact that the actors are dating is hilarious because they have negative chemistry.

Brian/Michael (QAF) They have definitely reached the level of my most hated notp. Honestly I dont understand them at all. In my opinion Brian is clinging onto Michael as a safety net because of everything he did for him growing up, and Michael is clinging onto Brian because he's his oldest friend and one of the first people to give him the time of day. They're great friends (most of the time) but never ever romantic.

I couldn't agree more. So glad I dumped the show. I was getting mad watching. Their bate and switch between one and two didn't set well with me.
