So very well said. I will never not be devastated with the direction that TPTB ultimately decided to go with and I knew that the shippers would be burned at the end of the day because it's GG and I don't have much faith in the writers ... yet I could not help but fall for them because it was inevitable. He was the light at the end of the tunnel, he didn't save her but he helped her save herself even just for that period of time. They were healthy and good and beautiful and pure and I'll never get why she decided to slip back into the darkness. He helped her see the good in herself when she felt nothing but worthless and in turn she challenged him to go back to his roots, to do what he truly loved doing and they were just genuinely, blissfully happy and good for each other. They were amazing together but they could have been so much more. What a shame. Truly.

I have beenn rewatching this show from the beginning and somehow this couple has become my favorite couple of the show. Even the moments were I used to dislike Lily so much came to me in a different light. I understand why she did what she did. I realized her fears and I honestly get where they came from.

these two were the only reason I loved this show. The gang is the guy who I should end up with and having a child with Robin about Ted.

When she saw him, she had to go. she was still in love with ted.
