I am liking it despite the fact that it is written in FIRST PERSON, I can deal with it, but other than that I am loving it!

You're not used to first person? Most books tend to be. granted most adult books are in third.

I read the LKH Anita Blake series, and that is in first person, but I like the way those books are written. Most first person books I don't get into because I'm a writer and I like to write from all angles, from each character, but with Bitten I am liking Elena's perspective.

I'm a writer also, and prefer first person because I feel it's more personal and you get into your heroine or whomever is your protagonist.

I would like to consider myself a writer, but I'm not gonna lie, I have no time for it, absolutely zero. I have all these ideas, and most of the time I write them down. Really deep storylines, that go into detail with a beginning, middle, and end. If I could really sit down and write and know I'm gonna get published I think I would give it a try, but I'm at a job were my hour are 3p to 11p, 5 days a week, and now my old job may be coming back open so I'm aiming for 3 days of 12 hours shift, and 3 days of 8 hour shifts. It's a great paycheck, but leaves hardly any time for myself. Anyways, I like each perspective on writing as long as it's well written. If I feel like I'm reading something very childish, I close that book. I might try another book by the same author just to see if it was that one book. If it turns out the same, I won't attempt to read anything by them again.

I just find, sometimes, it's hard for me to get into the first person mind. But, BITTEN is one of the few 1st person books that I am liking! LOL!

That's probably one of my favorite scenes of them. I wonder if she knew he was there. When she puts her hand up to the wall where he's sitting. You can tell she still cares for him, but she tries to bury it down deep. She's probably afraid if she doesn't she'll give into him.

i love that scene too!!! She puts her hand up, he just outside, and for a moment it lookos like she can hear his heart beat, but then she turns from the window. O_O

I love Elena and Clay. <3 Right now I am in book 4 of the Otherworld series, they aren't the main characters in this one but still make a cameo.
