Everything was so ambigous because they didn't want to take down the finale WTF, but we need answers about it. There's something about Tyler's look when Caroline leaves, in their last scene together, at the Lockwood mansion, that makes me reflect a lot. He's staring at her leaving, it's not the first time, actually, he has done it before, but there was something about it that makes me think. Also, why would Tyler want to call Bonnie?

I'm convinced Tyler willingly went to Bonnie. i consider the "let me protect you" a hint for this. "Everything i like about me is you"... he just needed Caroline to survive. that's all that matter to him. and Klaus had to stay alive for this.

And that's what I call epic and unconditional Love Everything Tyler did for Caroline proves it, and everything Caroline did for Tyler proves it. In all of this, there's only one that smells ****, and it's Klaus.

Well, it's inevitable that name is gonna be mentioned.

Anyway, I'm gonna stick with my theory that Tyler was aware of the switching body. Klaus was also surprised to find Caroline in the cave, he didn't know why he was so upset about, and he got it just when she told him about Klaus dying. Then the act started. He went there because he would meet there with Bonnie, and he had to be alone to meet Bonnie.

Tyler and Klaus never met for the switch body to happen. Tyler simply called Bonnie, and since his first priority is to protect Caroline, Bonnie must have told him about Klaus' request. And Tyler said yes. That's my theory.

Something that confuses me. IF Tyler was aware and sacrificed himself, why wouldn't he have found some way to let Caroline know that Klaus would be in his body? If he didn't have time and it was a very quick decision, surely he would have told Bonnie to tell Caroline and the others immediately so they can stay away from him/Klaus, until they can find some way to get Klaus into another body or something. I just can't see Tyler agreeing to do this without knowing for SURE that Caroline (and the others) would be informed that Klaus is really inside him.

That's why I think Tyler might have not been aware. I think Bonnie thought of a way to save her friends and her Mom but the only way Klaus would accept the deal is if he could go inside Tyler, so he could get his revenge on Tyler/get closer to Caroline. Klaus could then have told her he will kill her or her loved ones if she breathes a word about it to anyone.

I guess it's possible Bonnie told Tyler about the plan but because of her deal with Klaus, lies to him about telling Caroline/the others.
