That hurts my heart What's really sad is that it's not a case of all the ArMor shippers becoming M/M shippers; they've just lost all hope and so all interest. Cause let's be honest: you don't watch Merlin for the amazing storytelling Most fans are shippers one way or another, and when your ship isn't going to happen it's demoralizing.

And we all know the fastest way to become Queen is to marry a King! Come one Katie!

gah THIS! Most ArMor shippers didn't abandon the ship, just the show And while some of them may also ship M/M they never lost their love for ArMor. But the hardcore ArMor shippers who don't even like M/M gave up on the show because it became pretty obvious ArMor would not continue after season 1 And its so true that most fans are shippers in one way or another. There's some who ship the whole OT4 together, but that still makes them shippers. And when your ship isn't going to happen it makes it hard to watch the show. Because obviously Merthur might not ever be romantic but they'll always be the heart of the show, M/M get all the angsty scenes for Morgana, and do I even need to mention A/G? So really we're the only ones that get screwed over

Hey Neda How are you?

I've lost hope for ArMor They were the main reason why I watched the show (along with Arthur/Merlin relationship). Now I don't watch it anymore, because I can't stand Arthur/Gwen I was shipping her with Lancelot, but they ruined them too
I've heard that there'll be a A/G/L triangle next season though, so maybe in season 5 or 6 I could have my ArMor and L/G back

ArMor and Arthur/Merlin are the main reason I watch too, and my ArMor keeps getting taken away from me Though in her recent interview Katie says Morgana does interact with EVERYONE just not in the way you'd expect. So I hope that means some ArMor Though the popular theory right now is that she will actually be changing herself to look like Gwen.

Yeah there will be the A/G/L triangle next season And I'm hoping the same thing, I want my ArMor and L/G in season 5

SO true I still love ArMor with everything I've got but I just find it so...tiring sometimes. To put so much into it and to get nothing in return. I don't think I'd feel this way if they had started the show with them as siblings, but they didn't They had them flirting and batting their eyelashes, and drooling over each other, and sword fighting side-by-side. I fell hard and fast. Rat bastards. And even apart, Arthur and Morgana are perfect for each other! She understands one-half of his kingdom that he doesn't understand; she could be the most invaluable adviser he could ever hope to have. She'd be the greatest Queen Camelot's ever had. That's what makes it worse: despite all the crap and the time apart, they're even more perfect for each other now than the were at the start of the show!

It is very tiring to be an ArMor fan Gwen/Angel fans always complain about how hard it is to be a fan of hers because she's left out of a lot of the promotional stuff but they should try being an ArMor fan

^THIS! If they hadn't had the amazing build up in season 1 with all the flirting and chemistry I probably wouldn't be this attached since I'm not usually one for crack!ships or anything. I might have even shipped M/M or A/G had they just started them out from the first season and had ArMor strictly as siblings. But they didn't, they had ArMor flirt and have eye!sex and let the BK chemistry shine and they showed that Morgana would be the perfect Queen for Camelot and she was Arthur's equal How were we NOT supposed to love them?!

Ironic isn't it? That even after everything, they're still perfect for each other And actually an A/G fan got converted to ArMor in season 3 because they realized ArMor had more story Morgana would be such an amazing Queen Yes Gwen may be familiar with the common people, but season 1 made it clear that Morgana was too. And the people already looked to her as a leader and future Queen. Morgana understands the royal side and the politics that Gwen most likely does not.

I did like a lot of Katie's comments. She does seem to have read up on the legends, and we do know that she read Road to Avalon. Neda gave her a copy last year and then say her with it again.

I agree with her on the movie Excalibur. I don't really like it all that much. Helen Mirren is a brilliant actress but the movie is just so -- histrionic. John Boorman and Rospo Pallenberg had some interesting ideas in their screenplay, and certainly researched the Arthurian legends and even some Irish lore; but they film's overall production defeat it. The armor worn by Arthur and his knights never existed anywhere but in 1970's and '80's overheated fantasy illustrations. The kind done by, as one of my professors one called him, that comic book Pre-Raphaelite, Frank Frazetta. That said, it should be noted that Excalibur had an accomplished cast.

Katie doesn't seem to me as though she's quite the M/M shipper she used to be. Now she seems to really want Morgana to kick Merlin's skinny butt. So, she's basically shipping them as enemies.
