I'm confused too, but engagement PLUS wedding is a little bit too much for MerDer I guess. We have two more seasons to come. Shonda needs stuff for season 6. A MerDer wedding would be too rushed IMO

You might be right. Although, the thing with Shonda is she makes plot decisions based on what she likes, and not on what will make sense to others.
