I'm afraid they are going to go a bit backwards regarding Francis characterization. I mean after all he has done for Mary, then they sprung this up.

it seems like he'll be a bit confused.

what i think'll happen: he'll be thrown off by olivia coming back, and his old feelings. but eventually he'll realise it's mary who really has his heart. but by then mary and bash will have kissed, and fallout ensues

I agree, I mean why build him up to be such a great character just so they can bring him down again just for a stupid love triangle. That I don't even understand how the F#*k they are going to make it work.

This is what I hate about love triangles.

sounds mostly plausible and then he "turns to Olivia" etc, as the synopsis said.


And its somewhat believable. I mean, for all of Francis' goodness... he was raised as an absolute monarch in a time where most kings had mistresses and absolute power and many believed they were kings/queens because of god's will and in some cases were only answerable to god.

That kind of upbringing I'd imagine... even for someone with great intentions and a good heart might bring with it some kind of moral dilemas
