another no here.....
you don't choose beeing gay... and you can't pretend loving someone for so long.... even that she slept with Brian in collage doesn'T make her straight... that would mean that Brian and Justin are pretending to be gay too, because they both did it with women..... being gay doesn't mean that you can't have sex with the other gender...  __________________

I personally didn't like the Sam storyline. I thought it was just thrown in for shock value and didn't fit, nor did Mel's reaction and how it went on for so long. But that's just my opinion.
