Not Dallas, but Houston. And then again in New Orleans. I plan to be in Toronto in February for his last performance so, as disappointing a this is, it's not my last chance to see the show while Randy is still touring. But I wish I wasn't missing it.....
If no one here can use the ticket, I'm going to offer it on one of the Randy FB groups.
I'd hate for it to go to waste when I know someone, somewhere out there would like to see his performance (which, I'm sure you've already heard, is LEGEND).
Deborah, are you going to see the show in Tampa or Fort Lauderdale (or both?).
I can share with you that when I first saw the show in Houston, I was sitting with people who had seen other, previous productions of Cabaret and when they stood for his curtain call, I felt like a proud parent! Every show I've seen, the audience has not failed to respond to his performance. His character is vulgar, witty, dark, playful and ultimately tragic. Oh, and beautiful. Let's not forget how incredibly beautiful he is on stage. I'm sure you have seen pictures.
I'm not trying to sell anyone on the performance, but if you can make the trip to Charlotte, or already live close by, please don't hesitate to speak up and claim this ticket.

My tickets for the Toronto performances aren't quite as good but only by a few rows.
Of course, Randy's voice sounds marvelous from any seat in the theater.

Theatre Review: 'Cabaret' at The Fox - Atlanta INtown Paper


And I’d also like to say that Atlanta-raised Randy Harrison (star of the U.S. version of “Queer As Folk”), competing (if you will) with the memory of Joel Grey and Alan Cumming, is astonishing as the Emcee, firmly putting his own stamp on this legendary role. He is leering, sneering, charming, flirting, acts and sings up a storm and virtually never leaves the stage. His Emcee becomes ominous, dangerous, and finally a victim. It is a masterful, unforgettable performance.


The show is exhilarating and a little frightening. I concur with star Randy Harrison, who says “Any time discrimination and hate speech and scapegoating of minorities—religious, sexual—are used to motivate political action, this show is relevant.” Enough said.
