I've heard a surprising amount of QAF fans say they found the election stuff boring and lame. I'm just like whaaaat?! It was super interesting to me because it all had such a profound influence on the characters' lives. And I think they built up the drama brilliantly.

I don't like them or find them very interesting in real life either, but the part that directly affects me I find important. And I thought it was exciting in the show.

Politics causes a lot of problems in our society, just a very divisive thing. it gives me a damn headache. But I enjoyed watching it's portrayal on this show.
