Hi, everyone. Excuse my absence. I've just been out preparing to ring in the New Year. I'm going to spend it at home, watching the ball drop.

Good Morning everyone!
Happy start to the New Year. I've signed up for the Battle of The Books challenge on Goodreads. I logged in 152 published books for 2013, so I was 52 above my goal. I signed up for 100 again this year, but since I'm so involved with this board I'm not going to stress myself out about it. I love it here and you ladies have made it a joy for me. My wish is for this board to prosper, and the show to always be loved and cherished. *I know…I'm just a big sap.  Hubby and I watched Pacific Rim last night. I really enjoyed it! I'm going to have to log off for a while.
I'm off to take a shower, then head out to the mall. Dillards (our major department store) is having 50% off of the permanent markdowns and I NEED new sheets. I LOVE new sheets!!!! I MUST HAVE new sheets!!!  AND…you'll be happy to know that Victoria should be back on tomorrow. She goes back to work.  __________________

Had a real corny filmfest day on TV ... started with Breakfast at Tiffany's, then The Sound of Music (I am such a sucker for this film but today I kept seeing Linz as Friedrich
) and then Big ....!!!!!Now watching a couple of S1 eps of the boys before the new series of Sherlock! |

Hey girls
What a busy start of the new year! I think I mentioned that yesterday I had to pick up my mom from her workplace because she was having car issues well today we had to deal with all of that. Her car got towed to a shop here in Manassas and they are working on replacing at least one of the tires and repairing another. __________________

 Hi Everyone! I'm back from vacation!!!! I've missed you ALL I tried to log on from home but my computer was moving so slow I just didn't have the patience. I did as the dr prescribed and spent many days in bed resting my back and it really helped. Maybe the dr. will prescribe "Retirement" next.  Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Good to be back  |
