Nathan Malony: "It's not a phase" *UK*
Discussion thread for Nathan Malone from QAF UK.
So, what do we think? Personally, I think he's quite a sweet character, though he could do with finding a better role model than Stewart. Even so, you could see that everything he did, his heart was in the right place - or, well sometimes. And the other times, he was just out for Stewart's approval. I whole-heartedly agree with you. I like Nathan, and I think he had a very sweet character, but Stuart was such an interesting role model for him to have. I think he could have definately found someone better to watch and follow, but he was so young and inexperienced, he of course wanted Stuart's approval on what he did.

Very true... it is always someone that they want to "become"... Stuart just became someone he could idolize.

Hiya all,
Oh I loved Nathan Charlie Hunnam is a very gifted character... he potrayed Nathan so well due to his age too only being 15 in this. the major thing is that The USA version is based on the UK version but Justin and Nathan are so different from each other... it actually shows two sides of possibly one character. Nathan was cool though a sweetheart even orton xxx __________________

I loved Nathan, but he's not a very likeable character. None of the QAF:UKers are.
Nathan lacks empathy with others. It can be seen especially in episode 4 when Vince tells Nathan that their friend just died, and Nathan just replies with a shrug and a smile, "Sorry." I also remember in episode 8 when Romy's fake marriage falls through because Nathan sent the letters. And all Nathan could say was "I don't care!" Granted, he was doing it as a favour to Stuart; but even so, you get the feeling that he really doesn't care. And he treated Donna like dirt for a while. Even so, I love him and all the other members of QAF:UK. Their utterly blasé attitude to life is something I quite enjoy onscreen, though I wouldn't really want them as friends. Strike that, I would like them to be 'have fun' friends, but I can't see any of them being friends that you can turn to in a crisis. __________________

Hiyah!
Hmm... I don't know his reactions seem exactly what I'd expect out of a 15 year old British boy Orton xxx __________________

I don't know, sometimes I get so shocked at the way the QAF:UKers behave. Like the time Nathan runs out of the car while it's still in gear, and Janice had to try to drive it from the passenger's side. That was really reckless of him.

Nathan was horrible to his mother. She tried so hard, but he was horrible! Especially after he started hanging out with Daniel (who I love, because he's a mini-Alexander ) who is also not the nicest boy in town. But you know, having said all that, we still love Nathan anyway. I can't figure out why that is... __________________

*shocked* Just 2 discs... I thought it was a whole series that ain't fair
The reason why I think I love him is due to his lack of emotion to anyone else... he dosn't give a flying ***** which makes it funny cause its so original... well in my opinion anyway Later Orton xxx __________________
