Honestly, in my eyes a lot of those accusations have to do with jealousy to success.. I always can say that somebody made attempts against me without me wanting it.. after a long long time, nobody really an tel if I'm right or not anymore..

These are accusations... but be so as it may, I'm inclined to believe any victim because this has gone on for too long. This has been THE worst kept Hollywood secret for the longest now, and something had to give. I don't see what someone has to gain from making up such serious charges as that if they weren't true.

I'm not saying that all accusations are wrong or untrue, and dof course it should something be done against it..., but maybe some of them just appear out of jealousy.. that's what someone can get out of it.. destroing the success of someone who is more famous than the person him/herself....

we had a case of a journalist and a talkshow moderater, both were accused to have raped their broken up girlfriends years back, and their carreers were destroied.. again years later it was proofed that both girls lied...

so again.. I ask.. why wait over 30!!! years to accuse someone.. I hardly can tell what I ate three days ago, I wouldn't be able to defend myself when somebody would accuse me I did something with him 30 years ago on a party where alcohol and probably drugs were involved...

no matter what.. it is a bad thing one way or the other

it for sure is a touchy topic were no one from the outside can say if it is right or wrong or if it happened or not and it always is hard to proof after such a long time...

And there's also the issue of timing, like you said Daggi. We have this thing in the U.S. called the Statute of Limitations which determines a window of time in which to convict criminals in a court of law. The problem is that even if these accusations are true (Most likely they are) then the time for justice has passed. So I guess the "court of public opinion" is the next course of action for justice for these ladies/men. The scary thing about that is it's very easy to make something up, and if someone being accused were to lose everything they've ever worked for (and take their lives) over accusations that were never proven in a court of law, and turned out to be false.... that would be so tragic.

9/10, though, the people being accused of these sex crimes have actually done it, and I believe the victims. But with that being said, proving it happened over someone's word takes as much evidence as it would proving that it did NOT happen. So it's definitely a touchy subject for sure.

People have to learn to keep their hands to themselves and take no for an answer.

I'm glad we're addressing this by the way.

When you have multiple women/men coming forward about 1 individual, it is really sad...especially when the accused says things like, "I remember those times completely different". This is meaning, it was consensual and I did nothing wrong...it was them.

I completely agree. No one has the right to invade another person's body or space in anyway when that person has already said no.

It is so sad that in so many countries still a woman isn't worth the same as a man, or worse a piece of possetion.. not even speaking about other things.. and if there the person says no it just means nothing.. There worldwide laws would be neccessary..
