Our weather has been really crappy this year and even indoors, I've been really cold going to bed the past couple of nights!

I just can't fathom these gorgeous kids being made to sleep rough only by reason of their sexuality! There really are some godawful parents out there.

Last night it rained so much that my pool is filled to the top. The lightning was really scary, sounded like explosions and the power kept flickering. It was scary because a couple of years ago we had a lightning strike that damaged our home. I can't imagine being homeless and stuck out in that.

No, I cannot imagine just how devastating and frightening it is to find that you're suddenly homeless. The vulnerability alone is just horrific to think about.

I have to say that I was so happy on Wednesday .. the two guys who sat next to me in the theatre held hands for the whole of the play ..

.. and as I was meandering back through Haymarket and Piccadilly Circus, I saw several same sex couples wandering hand in hand or arm in arm .. and that's really what marriage equality has done for this country ~ it's made a lot of people no longer afraid to show who they are .. and that is just wonderful to witness.

That is so wonderful to hear. And depending on where you are in the U.S. same-sex couples are more and more comfortable here as well.
